Dine & Discover to get NSW out and about
The NSW Government is launching Dine & Discover NSW to encourage people to get out and about and support local businesses and help hospitality, the arts and tourism industries bounce back from COVID-19, stimulating the economy in the process.
Dine & Discover will provide NSW residents over the age of 18 with four $25 digital vouchers. The vouchers can be used at participating eligible businesses and venues that are registered as COVID Safe. There’ll be a scheme of the trial in early December, where residents will be invited to use vouchers with participating businesses in The Rocks in Sydney. Reports suggest that 60,000 people living in the Sydney CBD 2000 postcode will be first in line to get the vouchers. The program will then be rolled out across NSW from late January 2021.

How does it work?
Every NSW resident aged 18 and over will be eligible for four $25 vouchers worth $100 in total. The vouchers can be used at participating NSW businesses who are registered as COVID Safe. The scheme will be divided into two categories:
1. Dining out: two $25 vouchers can be used to purchase food at venues such as restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs.
2. Going out: two $25 vouchers can be used for activities such as visiting cultural institutions, performing arts, cinemas and amusement parks.

I’m in! How do I apply?
To participate, you need to have a MyServiceNSW account. You can download the Service NSW app for iOS and Android now and register for a MyServiceNSW account online ahead of the vouchers becoming available from late January 2021.
Using the vouchers
You’ll be able to search for participating businesses where you can use your vouchers via the ServiceNSW app or on the ServiceNSW website. Vouchers must be redeemed in person at participating businesses and can only be used once. The vouchers can’t be used for retail, tobacco, alcohol, gambling or accommodation.
