Juice manufacturer Eastcoast Beverages will open its farm gates to the public for one day only in Kulnura on NSW’s Central Coast on Sunday, June 13. A special Day on the Farm harvest festival will feature exclusive tours of the Eastcoast Beverages factory and farm, as well as food stalls that will showcase local Central Coast produce.

Eastcoast Beverages is a third-generation Australian family business that has been producing premium quality fresh fruit juices, fruit drinks and natural spring water since 1965. The family, with the support of the Central Coast Council, is proud to bring their annual Day on the Farm event back in 2021. The day is expected to draw crowds of up to 10,000 people from Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast.

The event was last held in 2019 and allows visitors to get a real taste of fresh Aussie fruit.

Something for everyone

Visitors on the day will have the opportunity to learn how Eastcoast brings its products to life, from the tree to the bottle. To highlight the family’s focus on sustainability and its commitment that nothing be wasted, there’ll be activations featuring the re-use of bottles, as well as blender bikes for attendees to blend their own smoothies using fresh fruit juice.

This family-friendly event will also offer a tractor ride that will serve as an educational tool to teach adults and kids alike all about fruit. Guests will learn what varieties of citrus grow on the Eastcoast site and how nothing is wasted. Ticket holders can even pick their own oranges. Kids can also bounce around in jumping castles, try their luck at laughing clowns and watch live entertainment. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy produce from local food stalls.

The third-generation Lentini farming family are proud to showcase Central Coast produce.

“One of the best things we can do as a company is to support the locals who support us,” says Eastcoast Managing Director, Samuel Lentini. “Our region doesn’t get as much attention as it should. So being able to hold this event – along with many other businesses in the area – is extremely important; to really show people what Kulnura has to offer.”
