Eativity's traditional bolognese sauce

Spaghetti bolognese has been a staple dish in our house for years. It’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser and packed full of protein, vegies and flavour. On the downside, the kids always ask me to cook it for dinner about 30 minute out from when they want to eat, which is just not possible because it takes time and love to make it just right.

In the video below, I share my version of traditional bolognese sauce. Keep in mind that I’m no celebrity chef – just a mum that loves to cook and tends to go a little rogue when given a recipe to follow. Because of this, my version has evolved a little over the years.

For those of you who are keen to give my version a go, here’s a list of ingredients.

Half a bunch of celery
1 brown onion
4 carrots
Triple concentrate tomato paste
500ml beef or vegetable stock
400ml full cream milk
500g lean beef mince
Cumin
Salt
Olive oil
