Mouat's Farm remains true to customers

Located in Batlow high country, Mouat’s Farm has been growing apples since 1926. Over the subsequent years, it has become renowned for its award-winning produce.

The high-altitude area produces around 10 percent of Australia’s annual apple crop. But on January 4, 2020, a massive, undefendable bushfire destroyed many of the local orchards. Mouat’s Farm was lucky to only suffer minimal damage.

In the video below, Greg Mouat explains why it’s so important to have a roadside stall despite being a larger commercial producer. If you’d like to find out more, head to the website. The farm also produces cherries, free-range eggs and homemade jams.
