My little urban patch: week 8

28th August 2020 | Moira Geddes

Spring is in the air, which means there are now so many more options when it comes to deciding what to plant in your backyard vegie patch. It’s also the busiest time of year in the garden, so it’s the perfect chance to start from scratch or revive your dormant winter beds.

If you’re not sure what to put in, I would recommend planting what you know you’re going to eat rather than what you know is going to grow well. This season I’ve decided to start with corn, Lebanese cucumber, Lebanese eggplant, rhubarb and tomatoes.
