Norco milk the cream of the crop – again
Legen-dairy! Norco, Australia’s only 100 percent farmer-owned dairy co-operative, has been awarded top honours in Canstar Blue’s Most Satisfied Customer awards for 2021.
It’s not the first time the brand has been recognised in the prestigious awards. The co-op also took out the title in the competitive milk category in 2019 and 2020.
More than 3000 Australians awarded Norco’s Fresh Full Cream Milk top marks across all categories. These include taste, freshness and value for money as well as packaging design.
“To receive a five-star rating for overall satisfaction from our customers, the highest score achievable, is a huge honour,” says Norco CEO Michael Hampson. “Especially in such a competitive category. It’s a testament to the dedication and passion of all our Norco farmers and team members. They work to ensure that Norco’s range of delicious, high-quality dairy products are available to Australian households. Day in and day out.
“We’re so grateful to all our customers who continue to use their purchasing power to support our 126-year-old, 100 percent farmer-owned co-op. It’s thanks to them that we’re able to do what we do while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the dairy industry.”
A competitive category
Norco beat eight other brands to take out the top position in the Fresh Full Cream Milk Category. This includes national supermarket brands.
“To see Norco rated best for fresh milk is a real testament to the quality and value this Aussie brand brings to the market,” says Canstar Blue Acting Editor-in-Chief, Megan Birot.
“Fresh milk is a staple for many households. It makes this category so competitive, with both big-name brands and supermarket labels to contend with. The fact that Norco also rated best for every single driver of satisfaction is an outstanding achievement. “
Established in 1895 in Byron Bay, Norco is now one of the only remaining true Australian farmer-owned dairy co-operatives. It has more than 300 members across northern NSW and south east Queensland. For more information, head to the Norco website.
