The Chopsicle: a meaty treat on a stick
Ever looked at a popsicle and wished it came in a savoury, meat-inspired flavour? Hey, who hasn’t? Now your wish has come true, thanks to meat pioneers Cleaver’s Organic.
Available from April 1*, The Chopsicle is a mouth-watering frozen meaty treat on a stick. With four delicious flavours, there’s something to tempt every tastebud in your household.
Rich Gravy is a classic flavour combo, perfect for the traditional meat lover, while Smoky BBQ is bursting with smoky, sticky goodness. Mint Jelly serves up a fresh flavour with a hint of tartness and a jam-like consistency in the classic lamb and mint flavour combo, and for those that have a sweet tooth, lamb-infused Raspberry Ripple is sure to hit the spot.

The Chopsicle is made from Cleaver’s fabulous certified organic lamb, sourced from Australian family farms. It contains no artificial colours or flavours and is dairy and gluten-free, however, it does contain meat, so is not recommended for vegans.
Cleaver’s Marketing and Innovation Director Paul da Silva says the new Chopsicle is just one more delicious way to enjoy Australia’s favourite cut of meat.
“We’re constantly pushing the boundaries when it comes to innovation with meat in Australia,” he says. “This is the culmination of our pioneering work in the category of meat popsicles, known in the industry as ‘mopsicles’.”
Cleaver’s has always been a pioneer in the Aussie meat industry, from producing certified organic meat to becoming the first to achieve 100 percent carbon neutral status. Now they’re the first to market with a meat popsicle, taking the lead once again.

“Because all kids love picking up their lamb chops, we’ve decided to launch with a product based on a chop,” da Silva says. “But we investigated everything from meatballs through to an ultra-premium and indulgent ‘adults only’ wagyu product.
“We know the new Chopsicle will be flying out of freezers everywhere. I’m a traditionalist so my favourite is Mint Jelly, but we can’t wait to see which flavour Australia loves the most.”
The Chopsicle is a special limited edition* treat. To get your hands on The Chopsicle, head to the freezer aisle in a supermarket near you.
*Available until 12pm, April 1.
