Hey you! Yes, you – rummaging around in your cupboard for a lid to fit on that Tupperware container. We’re going to let you in on a little secret that will make storing and transporting food a whole lot easier, and there’s not a lid to be seen. While we’re at it, we’ve also found the perfect ingredient to zhuzh up your weekday meals, some delectable morning munchies and a brand spanking plant-based milk that’ll rock your world. And to top all of that off, we’ve even brought you a rather festive coffee treat. Happy Friday!

No lids? Huzzah!

Zip away from single use plastic

US plastic-free home storage brand Zip Top has brought its range of reusable, sustainable containers to Australia. Made from 100% platinum silicone, Zip Top’s patented design is the only brand in market that stands up, stays open and zips shut. The range is microwave-, freezer- and dishwasher-friendly, making a seamless transition from freezer to feed.

You’ll no longer have to go digging through drawers to find missing lids – which is the main reason many plastic containers are thrown out. Zip Top products also contain no BPA, PVC, lead or phthalates, and the range of dishes, bags and cups are ideal for packing lunches, storing food in the freezer or even carrying toiletries when travelling.

Zip Top products are available at Everten, Howards Storage World Miranda and Essential Utensil Albury. You can also buy them online from Amazon.

Table of Plenty’s panko crumbs add healthy zest to meals that traditionally call for plain breadcrumbs.

Add more flavour and crunch to your meals

If you want to change up your regular weekday meals and add a little more crunch and flavour, you should try Table of Plenty Panko Crumbs. They’re the crunchier, healthier and tastier alternative to regular breadcrumbs.

Panko crumbs are crispier and absorb less oil than breadcrumbs, which not only makes them healthier but also gives them the versatility to be used in a variety of cooking methods, including frying, baking, binding and roasting. Table of Plenty has also added its own blend of herbs and spices so the crumbs impart flavour as well as texture.

The crumbs come in two flavours – Italian Herb Blend and Deep South Cajun – and can be used to coat meat, seafood and vegies before frying, sprinkled over lasagne and parmigiana or added to meatballs. They’re made from all-natural ingredients with no bulkers or fillers.

Table of Plenty’s Panko Crumb range is now available at Woolworths in the spices section.

New to the fridge from the team at Soulfresh who brought you the Nutty Bruce range of plant milks, All Mighty Bruce Future M*lk will change the way you enjoy, drink and think about milk and its impact on our environment.

All Mighty Bruce Future M*lk has all the goodness of dairy milk but is made from whole plant ingredients – it’s a combination of wholegrain oats for delicious creaminess, peas for protein and seaweed for calcium. While it may seem like a weird combination, together they create a delicious creamy m*lk with all the protein and calcium you need that’s also free from nuts and soy. So, leave your old milk, your velour tracksuit and bad farming practices in the past and get sipping with Future M*lk.

One litre cartons of All Mighty Bruce Future M*lk are available in fridges nationwide at Woolworths and independent supermarkets. For more information, check out All Mighty Bruce on Instagram.
